Annual Financial Commitment
The Georgia Children’s Chorus is a tuition-based program significantly underwritten by the fundraising efforts of our community Board of Directors. Payment options are listed below. For more information, please see the GCC Handbook or contact the GCC Office at gcc@uga.edu. Tuition + Fees
Tuition can be broken into multiple payments or paid all at once, whatever is best for your family.
Uniform fees are due upon receipt of uniform items (fall of 2025).
Each family will receive 4 complimentary tickets to the Winter and Spring concerts in Hodgson Hall.
If your family is in need of help covering participation costs, please fill out our financial assistance application.
Reservation fee:
- due upon registration
- equal to 10% (one month) of season tuition

- credited toward season tuition

New Voices - $550
Treble Chorus - $650
Concert Choir - $750
Lyric Ensemble and Concert Choir - $750
(no extra charge for Lyric if singer is in both groups)
Lyric Ensemble only - $400

Financial Assistance
Financial assistance is available for those who qualify. The Georgia Children’s Chorus offers a limited number of need-based tuition scholarships for GCC families. Scholarship applications are anonymously reviewed by the GCC Scholarship Committee, made up of GCC Board Members.
To be considered for a scholarship, please fill out the application form linked below. All tuition payments will be deferred for applicants until the Board of Directors votes on scholarship awards.
*Applications due Sept. 15 for Fall Semester and Feb. 15 for Spring Semester.
Uniforms
Uniforms will be sized and ordered for all new singers. For returning singers, please have singers check the fit and reach out to us if new uniform items are required to resize and order. Uniforms will be paid for through individual invoices.
Formal Uniform
Consists of a White Tux Shirt, Black Pants, GCC pin, vest, black socks, and black shoes.
Vests belong to the Georgia Children’s Chorus and are rented to singers. All singers will wear black dress pants, provided by the singer.
The GCC pin is part of the uniform but is also a keepsake for your child. Each Spring, we will provide singers with a Year Bar to add to the pin indicating their years of participation.
Casual Uniform
Consists of the Red GCC Polo, black pants, black socks, and black shoes.
Uniform fees
$35 for new New Voices and Treble Chorus singers - includes red polo, GCC pin and year bar
$5 for returning New Voices and Treble Chorus singers - includes year bar only
$70 for new Concert and Lyric singers - includes vest rental, new tux shirt, button covers, red polo, GCC pin and year bar
$20 for returning Concert and Lyric singers - includes vest rental and year bar
