Our Choirs
Treble Chorus
Treble Chorus serves singers in grades 2–5 and lays the foundation for lifelong musicianship. Singers learn to read and interpret music through two-part singing, healthy vocal technique, music literacy, solfège, movement, and singing in multiple languages. Rehearsals balance focused skill-building with fun and creativity, helping singers develop confidence, independence, and ensemble awareness. Throughout the year, Treble Chorus performs in concerts and community events, giving singers meaningful opportunities to share their growing artistry while learning the value of teamwork and commitment.
Treble Chorus rehearses on Tuesdays, 4:30-5:45pm.
Concert Choir
Concert Choir is Georgia Children's Chorus's mixed-voice ensemble for singers in grades 6–12 who are ready to deepen their musicianship and artistry. Through advanced vocal training and repertoire in unison, two-, three-, and four-part harmony, singers strengthen their musical independence, rehearsal skills, and expressive performance. Members embrace musical challenges, support one another, and contribute to an ensemble where every voice matters. Throughout the season, Concert Choir performs in concerts and community events that challenge singers artistically, strengthen ensemble musicianship, and create meaningful connections through shared musical experiences.
Concert Choir rehearses on Tuesdays, 6:00-7:30pm.
Lyric Ensemble
Lyric Ensemble is GCC's advanced treble ensemble for singers in grades 9–12. Members also participate in Concert Choir, with Lyric Ensemble providing an additional opportunity to explore challenging repertoire written specifically for advanced treble voices. The ensemble emphasizes expressive artistry, a cappella singing, and contemporary and innovative literature while cultivating musical leadership and refined ensemble skills. Throughout the season, Lyric Ensemble performs independently, with Low Key Collective as a mixed SATB ensemble, and alongside other GCC choirs, offering singers opportunities to refine their artistry and contribute as musical leaders within the GCC community.
